Alligator Live Truck Build?

We would like to introduce something we are very excited about here at Alligator Performance, the "Alligator Live Truck Build". What we are showcasing is two truck builds LIVE at the Ultimate Callout Challenge / DPI Expo event, May 3rd-5th 2019. The platforms that we will be working with is a 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 and the new 2018 Ford F-150 3.0L Powerstroke, these will be built right in front of you from the ground up! The purpose of these builds is not to design another "SEMA-style" truck where it is on a 16 inch lift and 40 inch tires with very little performance added at all, what we want to do is build a couple badass towing style trucks, something were we can hook a 35+ft trailer on the back and tow across country. Originally the lists started small, but they are already starting to snowball... big surprise right?

Did I Say Emissions Complaint?

Starting off with the 2018 Ram 6.7 Cummins we plan on doing a medium size lift (4"-4-1/2") because like I said, this is focused on being a daily driven weekend warrior tow rig. Wheels and tires, we will install the new Fleece Performance PowerFlow Lift pump, either a larger single turbo like the HTT ProRam or the ATS Diesel Vortex kit, Tuning, and of course we will be in the market for a built 68rfe transmission, because we all know they can barely hold their own horsepower. There will be other performance upgrades as this build evolves, not sure if we will get into oversized injectors and upgraded CP3 pump just yet, but knowing us... it will probably happen sooner than later! Rolling into more of the accessory side of the build, yes, lift kit, wheels & tires, we will also be adding front and rear bumpers by Flog Industries, Ares Floor Mats, some bed accessories by Extang, Bed Rug, and UnderCover, Royalty Core Grille, some Rigid lights, and the list will continue to grow as we get closer to the build date.

Moving on to the 2018 Ford F-150 3.0L Powerstroke. This platform was chosen because it is projected to be one of the leaders in the 1/4-ton diesel truck class. Like the Ram, we will be focused on a daily driven, weekend warrior, emission complaint tow truck so we will somewhat parallel the Ram Build by installing an Intake, tuner, exhaust, with a few other performance additions. We also will be customizing the look with our personal touch by adding some accessories such as Lift Kit, Wheels & Tires, Sport Hood, Bushwacker fender flairs, bed accessories, grille, etc.

Now obviously there is only so much we can accomplish in a 3-day period at the UCC / DPI Show, so we will be installing a few of these parts leading up to the event. Follow along with our video series as we start to customize the Ram 6.7 and the F-150 Powerstroke and watch the final transformations live at the Ultimate Callout Challenge event in May!
